PTCL, TPL Trakker renew IoT deal – The News International

KARACHI: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) Group and TPL Trakker have renewed their partnership for the provision of machine to machine (M2M) and ICT services, the companies said on Thursday.

The agreement was signed by Zarrar Hasham Khan, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer of PTCL Group, and Rao Salman, Chief Executive Officer of TPL Trakker, at TPL Trakker headquarters in Karachi, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.

Under the agreement, PTCL Group will provide wireless connectivity and a host of bundled services to TPL Trakker, to enable the company’s premium and efficiency-boosting vehicle tracking, performance management, and other IoT services.

“PTCL Group being the national company is proud to be a major proponent of technological enablement and transformation in Pakistan,” Khan said in a statement. “We are steadfast in our commitment to further enhancing conduciveness for tech-based innovation and transformation in Pakistan.”

Salman said the renewed partnership reaffirms their joint commitment to their unwavering focus on connectivity and positions them as pioneers in developing and delivering cutting-edge IoT solutions.

“This strategic alliance paves the way for innovation, efficiency, and seamless nationwide connectivity,” he said. “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our stakeholders for their continued support as we embark on this transformative journey together.”
